The best reprint is Avenger of Zendikar, and that says it all. The Jund deck, is as expected, a disaster. In addition, the newer cards appear to be propping the set's EV's up as a whole. Alpha Authority - Bear Umbra - cardname or cardnameSET to call. Morph only affects the creature, making it a colorless 2/2, and does not affect anything attached to it. The main issue it appears is the chronic lack of standout reprints, in favour of sub-$5 reprints. Nothing in the Comprehensive Rules would prevent Bear Umbra from granting its abilities in this situation. When the enchanted creature attacks, all lands controlled by that creature's controller (who is not necessarily the Aura's controller) untap. So, the EV's themselves for three of the decks aren't actually too bad. NOW then, using the Professor Metric, where every card under $2 is bulk, here are the updated EV's.Īnd one last check, the EV's of all deck reprints, using the Professor Metric: Bear Umbra Rise of the Eldrazi Modern Card Kingdom Enchant creatureEnchanted creature gets +2/+2 and has 'Whenever this creature attacks, untap all lands you control. Instead, the spell or ability will destroy the Aura in two different ways at the same time, but the result is. Removing all cards under a dollar as bulk, and not counting the new commanders, the actual EV's are as follows: If a spell or ability (such as Planar Cleansing) would destroy both an Aura with totem armor and the permanent it’s enchanting at the same time, totem armor’s effect will save the enchanted permanent from being destroyed. When detailing the wolf’s mouth, draw the teeth a little bit curved to the inside so you can make them more believable. The mouth is probably the biggest difference compared to the other wolves we’ve been drawing previously.Draw the fur tufts like short curved spikes. The outline should be irregular because of the fur.The Head will be divided into 3 parts: the nose, the head, and the ears. You need to draw the neck first so you can use it as support for the head. The head will be placed almost in a vertical line. The front legs will be fully extended supporting the upper part of the body. Also, the tail will be not hanging like in the previous tutorials. Because the wolf now is sitting down, the paws will be bent.Check how this time the body is not horizontal and goes in a diagonal descending line from right to left. This is why I wanted to include on this list of wolf drawing tutorials. A wolf howling is one of the most classic images of wolves you can find. This is our third and last realistic wolf. When drawing the fur you should do it following the shape of the muscles under it. Pay attention to the muscles under the fur.The work method here is similar to the previous wolf.As we did when we were drawing our previous wolf, the outline of the wolf should be irregular because of the random tufts of fur covering the whole body.Draw them in a simpler way, almost as geometric forms. When drawing the wolf´s head I will draw the cranium, the ears, the nose, and the jaw as separated parts. You should draw the neck first so you can establish a good base for your head to sit on. Drawing the head is probably the trickiest part. You can divide it into more parts but I don´t find it necessary as long as you keep it simple. Like you can see on the drawing above the leg is divided into three parts.Drawing the front paws is even easier than drawing the back paws. You will add strains of fur and make it more irregular when detailing the drawing. The tail will be placed on the back of the gluts. Is better, if you divide the leg into parts so you can draw it successfully. The back paws will be attached to the sides of the hips. Once the body is in place drawing the back paws will be the next step. The larger part will be the chest area and the smaller one the hips. The first step like we did before will be to draw the body.We are going to draw our next wolf in a 3/4 view. Now we are going to step up our game and play a little bit more with the perspective. This hatching ( parallel lines )will help you to create some depth and create two separate planes, the front, and the backplane. Also adding some hatching on the paws on the back. One good tip is to draw the lines of fur following the shape of the underlying muscle or bone. Drawing fur will be probably the most common detail you are going to draw a Wolf. After you are done drawing the wolf’s outline, you should start focus on the body details. Also, you should darken the nose and the eyes so you can create some contrast.Because of the wolf’s fur, remember that the outline should be irregular and with little curvy spikes coming out randomly, representing the tufts of fur.You should follow the dummy you built on the previous stages and draw on top of it. Now it’s time to draw the wolf’s outline. The main facial features will be present( mouth, eyes, nose) but also represented in fairly simple manner. You can draw the ears almost as triangles and the head can be almost hexagonal. Try to keep the shapes as simple as you can. The second part will be to draw the wolf’s head. This two lines will represent the animal’s neck. First, you will draw a couple of lines coming out of the body.Always remember to divide the wolf’s paw into 5 parts and draw them from top to bottom.Once you know how to draw the back paws, drawing the front paws will be quite easy. But as you can see, the basic shape of the tail is quite easy to draw. Drawing the tail will be the other part of this step.Pay attention to how the paws are built in 5 different parts. On this second step, we will draw the back paws. The back paws and the tail will be attached to this part.

There are some things that are very hard to do outside of DOS like getting a list of files based on some basic criteria. Visit for a free video on Silverlight entitled Silverlight XAML for the Complete Novice - Part 1. Very simple, and much less code than it would have taken had I coded it using the various File and Directory classes. That's all there is to calling any command in the operating system. Finally you call the Start method of the Process class passing in the ProcessStartInfo object. I created a string with the arguments then filled in the source and destination folders using the string.Format() method. This object is where you fill in name of the command you wish to run and also the arguments that you wish to pass to the command. The CopyFiles method first creates a ProcessStartInfo object. Public Sub CopyFiles(source As String, destination As String)ĭim args As String = "\*.* /q /d /y"Īrgs = String.Format(args, source, destination) ProcessStartInfo si = new ProcessStartInfo() Īrgs = string.Format(args, source, destination) Public void CopyFiles(string source, string destination) NET programs, you can write the CopyFiles method presented below. To translate this into code that we can call from our. The /y option will automatically overwrite any existing files without prompting the user to press the "Y" key to overwrite the file. The /d option says to get any newer files it finds in the Original folder that are not in the Backup folder, or any files that have a newer date/time stamp. The /q option says to do it quitely without repeating all the file names as it copies them. What this command does is to copy all files from the Original folder on the C drive to the Backup folder on the D drive. The command I needed to run at the command prompt looked like this: So instead of writing a ton of code I decided to simply call the XCopy command using the Process class in. One of the options you can pass to this command is to grab only newer files when copying from one folder to another. The XCopy command in DOS (or the command prompt for you pure Windows people) is very powerful. Of course I could build it out of the various File and Directory classes, but then I remembered back to my old DOS days (yes, I am that old!). So, we needed to be able to copy over all the files one time, then also be able to go back a little later and grab just the new files.Īfter looking into the System.IO namespace, none of the classes within here met my needs exactly. However, there was a process that was running that would dump new files into the original folder every minute or so. Recently I had a client that had a need to copy files from one folder to another. OD – From a lyrical perspective, where were you drawing your influences from when writing for the album? When we looked at the idea and then made the connection that we had snakes on the cover, who have venom and we also had the song Venom, it just seemed all too good to be true and had to be done, so that’s how it all came about. We knew that we wanted to have snakes on the cover and also seeing as it is out fifth album, we wanted to have the ‘V’ in there to represent the number five and then obviously the use of the ‘V’ represents ‘valentine’. So this time around, we tried to do things completely different the way we approached the design process. With this album, we actually started with the artwork first, because we have had a pain in the arse in the past with doing the artwork, as we had always left it to the last minute. You see, before we actually decided on the name of the album, that song was already written and completely finished. MATT – No not at all, it was just more that things were kind of a coincidence. I know that it’s the sixth track on the album, but was it a case of when you wrote the track, you instantly knew it was going to be the title track for the album? OD – First off, lets talk about the new album and why you choose the title ‘Venom’. There is no doubt, that the remainder of this year and the foreseeable months from the start of 2016, will be extremely important for the band to stand up to the hype that surrounds them. It’s very cool and very exciting.”īullet For My Valentine are looking to release what will be their seventh studio album in 2021, with producer Carl Brown overseeing the project.Photo credit © Pali Hudak 2017 Speaking from his Kensington home in London’s affluent W8 suburb, Matt Tuck is taking a day off from the rigorous rehearsal schedule the band have been undergoing, in preparation for a tour that will see them on the road from next week, all the way through to the end of November, before they resume their Venom campaign, with January dates in Australia and America in February. “For the Bullet For My Valentine fans that like that side of this band, they’re going to lose their minds. It's very heavy, it's very gnarly, it’s very technical. The riffs are crushing. There's probably 60% aggressive vocals and 40% clean, which is a ratio we've never really dabbled with before. “You've just got to go with what's floating your boat, and this time around, the heavy stuff is just coming out in masses. It couldn't be more of a contrast with Gravity in a ferocious style. For some, it’s been a learning process and a time to reflect on important things rather than just the hustle and bustle of daily life.”Īsked if fans can still expect heavy material on what will be the follow-up to 2018’s Gravity, Tuck replies: “It's pretty brutal. As much as we all love what we do, it’s been a horrific time for some people. It’s good to reflect and have this moment of seeing what’s important in life. Tuck adds: “It feels good to put the brakes on for a minute anyway.
